Keep the same level, gathering, crafting and progression rates as the current version. Then change it to four month wipes so it is a "season'' format now. This keeps the population fending for each new season and has the potential to bring in new players as well each season. No one wants to play a game where people are already established being months ahead of you. Could also change some things up each season and introduce new cosmetics keeping the revenue stream going, because everyone would want each seasons cosmetics. DF would be an amazing PvP conquest game in season format and would have the potential to constantly bring in new players keeping the population fresh.
