Polearms are extremely useless compared to all other weapons in the game. When I ask other players, I often hear this. Is it intended to be a weapon that no one wants to use except for roleplay purposes?

Wouldn't it be better to increase either attack speed or damage to bring polearms in as an equivalent alternative to the other melee weapons?
