Before the reboot, the Staff of Life functioned as a dedicated Lesser Magic + Greater Magic staff. It served as the sustain counterpart to the Cobra Staff, which was commonly used by Destroyers in heavy armor due to high magic encumbrance.

After the reboot, the Staff of Life was converted into a Transmute staff (formerly the Staff of Legend). As a result, the game no longer has a dedicated Destroyer-oriented staff at this tier.

This creates a significant balance issue for Destroyers wearing Dragon armor.

Destroyers already sacrifice magical damage and healing effectiveness due to the Destroyer specialization and heavy armor encumbrance. Their survivability heavily depends on Lesser and Greater Magic, and there is currently no high tier staff in the game that enhances these schools.

Without a staff that boosts Lesser and Greater Magic that is more powerful than Amarthine, heavy Destroyer builds are disproportionately weakened in prolonged engagements.
