The idea is to create a new version of strongboxes that loot the area around it every 2 minutes with a magic pulse.

This would be beneficial for scaled spawns that are very click intensive to loot, and go hand in hand with this other suggestion:

It'd also create a new sink for higher end enchanting materials in crafting OTHER than enchanting, or use some lesser used ingredients like fibulas, etc.
