Spontaneous City Defense and Faction Territory Battles
Suggestion: Dynamic City Attacks & Faction Village Battles
I think it could be really fun and engaging, especially for newer players, if there were random or scheduled mob attacks on starter or faction cities.
Imagine a system where a certain type of mob force spawns and attempts to invade or take over part of the city. Players nearby would get a notification and could jump in to defend it. This would create spontaneous PvE events that encourage cooperation and give newer players something exciting to rally around.
If the players successfully defend the city, there could be rewards for participants, maybe increased loot from the invading mobs, or even a unique loot table tied to these invasion events. This would make the encounters feel meaningful and worth showing up for.
Another idea that could add a lot of fun PvP opportunities would be point of interest capture events between faction lands. There are a number of empty areas located between factions that could become faction battlegrounds. Maybe one team defends and the other attacks, and the defending team gets a 10 minute head start message. Not sure of the specifics, but it would give players a reason to roam, organize defenses, and fight over territory in a way that feels dynamic rather than forced.
Overall, these kinds of systems could:
• Create spontaneous PvE and PvP content
• Encourage players to defend their cities together
• Give newer players exciting events to participate in
• Increase world activity and faction interaction
