Steps to Reproduce

1. Ensure Steam is running and logged in
2. Launch Scythe Digital Edition from Steam library
3. Error dialog appears saying "Steam is not running"
4. Game fails to start

Explanation

Getting "Steam is not running" error when launching the game, even though Steam is clearly
running and I'm launching the game directly from Steam. This prevents me from playing the game at all.
