Hello Bloxburg development team,
I want to give direct feedback from a mobile player perspective regarding recent Build Mode updates and overall direction.
A growing concern in the community is that updates feel primarily shaped around PC gameplay and PC creators, with mobile players often being an afterthought. While the goal is clearly to make Bloxburg more accessible, many recent changes have unintentionally made building less intuitive on mobile, while favoring PC workflows instead.
Examples include:
Extra confirmation steps like the “+” placement toggle, which slows building flow
Splitting Transform+ into multiple tools, adding unnecessary complexity
Boxed wall changes that require additional toggles instead of being intuitive
UI adjustments that feel more natural on PC than on mobile touch controls
Another concern is performance. Several of these added systems and UI layers appear to increase strain on devices, which contributes to lag for some players. Performance stability is a major factor in whether players stay engaged, and inconsistent performance can lead to players leaving the game entirely.
There is also concern about direction and player retention. When updates feel disconnected from what the community is asking for, it can affect long-term engagement. Some players already feel the game is drifting away from what made building enjoyable and accessible, especially on mobile.
It is also worth noting that past updates have been adjusted or rolled back after negative feedback, which shows community input does matter. However, it would likely be more effective to gather mobile-focused feedback earlier in the process, rather than after changes are already implemented.
The Transform tool redesign is a strong example of a positive change that genuinely improves usability and shows what focused improvement looks like.
Overall, the game would benefit from:
Prioritizing mobile-first building design instead of PC-adapted systems
Reducing unnecessary steps in core building mechanics
Paying closer attention to performance and lag impact when adding new systems
Aligning updates more closely with community-requested features to maintain player engagement
Bloxburg has a strong creative community, but long-term engagement depends on updates that improve usability rather than complicate it.
