Adjust Day-Night Cycle for More Realistic Daytime Hours
Suggestion: Longer Days and Shorter Nights for More Realism
I think it would be great if Boxberg adjusted its day-night cycle to make daytime last longer and nighttime shorter. In real life, people generally spend more time active during the day, and a longer daylight period would make the city feel more realistic and immersive.
Longer days would give players more time to roleplay activities such as working, driving, shopping, attending events, and exploring the map without feeling rushed by darkness arriving too quickly. It would also make the city look more vibrant and alive, as many locations and vehicles are easier to appreciate during daylight.
Nighttime should still exist because it adds atmosphere and variety, but having it last for a shorter period could help maintain a better balance between realism and gameplay. For example, a day-to-night ratio of around 70% day and 30% night could provide enough time for both daytime and nighttime roleplay scenarios.
Overall, I believe longer days and shorter nights would improve immersion, enhance roleplay opportunities, and make the game’s world feel more natural and enjoyable for players.
