i have a cool idea that may take some work but i think it will make the game a lot more realistic and fun.

i think you should add a airport with a holiday like destination to go to, you can add more as you go but just starting off with one destination should be completely fine! but you could add a beachy holiday, a city like holiday, and a more outback holiday. i think adding this could engage more players with different maps to explore and more fun during roleplays.
