I think it would be so cool to be able to rent the apartments you constructed in the town. People can pay bills for living there plus a renting fee. The apartments could just look generic — looking studio like, or with a couple of bedrooms. That way people who are working on homes, or are trying to save up money by working can get their moods up while paying a small fee. Even for roleplaying, I think that this could be a great alternative.
