I think an interesting addition could be new types of beds. As we know, the most common types of beds are single, double, and bunk beds. I suggest the addition of at least one of the following types of beds: sofabeds, murphy beds, or day beds.

For clarity's sake, allow me to provide a short description of the function and benefit of each of these bed types.

Sofa Bed: Sofa by day, bed by night. Turn living spaces into sleeping spaces with the click of a button, giving you an extra bed to host guests or parties or whatever the need may be.

Murphy Beds: A similar benefit to sofa beds, as they allow for extra room that can be packed away during the day. Murphy beds are marginally less intrusive than sofa beds, as they're packed flat against a wall, so they could be used for rooms that a sofa wouldn't go in but a bed could be handy if extra space is needed. Alternatively, pop a sofa on the front and it's a double sofa-murphy bed!

Daybeds: These are a much more simple item: A bed that looks like a sofa! Again, beneficial for living spaces during the day, as they can have cushions and blankets on to make people feel comfortable, but at night they can be used to sleep without the need to construct that a sofa or murphy bed has. If you want the easiest of the three types i suggested to add, it'd be this one. It's just a normal bed with sofa-shaped edges.
