Foundations. No house has a front door that immediately sits on the ground, there's always a front step or a ramp with a noticable (or something not) incline. I would like to suggest the ability to scale the thickness of floors, similar to how you can scale basic blocks, as opposed to only having regular flat floors, AND the ability to move doors up and down a wall, along with smaller sets of stairs that could lead to a front porch/stoop. This would make it feel like the house has some kind of structure under it rather than just sitting on the ground.
