I think occasional NPC burglars could make the game feel more alive and give security items an actual purpose.

Right now, security cameras and alarms are mostly decorative. It could be interesting if there was a VERY small random chance of NPC thieves appearing occasionally near homes.

Some ideas:

• extremely rare events,
• only active in public servers,
• no permanent damage to builds,
• security cameras/alarms could scare them away faster,
• police roleplay could become more useful,
• players could receive small alerts on phones/tablets.

This could make neighborhoods feel more dynamic without becoming annoying or stressful.
