Add Support for Dynamic Heads in Bloxburg Avatar Editor

On March of this year, Roblox removed the 2D faces from the platform to fully implement the Dynamic Heads. The change seems to be permanent as no fixing towards this problem came to light and people began to adapt to the dynamic heads.

In Welcome To Bloxburg, the game’s avatar editor doesn’t allow you to add dynamic heads to your avatar and the 2D faces do not work anymore. When you try to add the ID of a dynamic head, a disclaimer pops up prohibiting you from adding it. The players are now basically stuck with the dynamic heads they have in their Roblox Inventory. Ever since this issue, roleplays and Bloxburg films were impacted, specially those made by small creators who don’t have Robux to buy dynamic heads.

For example, I filmed a horror short-film recently. When a character was supposed to show fear, she was stuck with a smiling dynamic head because Bloxburg doesn’t support dynamic heads and 2D faces in their avatar editor. This caused a problem as people began to mock my short film for the “lack of effort” on changing the character’s faces.

To enhance Roleplays and the film community of Bloxburg, implementing dynamic heads would be a huge deal. With the large expansion of choices since the UGC community were allowed to create their own dynamic heads , Bloxburg films will become way more detailed and fun to watch, bringing more Roblox film creators to the game.

Thank you for reading.
