OFFICIAL SUGGESTION: Realistic Driving & City Life Update - For Bloxburg

Hi Coeptus & Bloxburg Dev Team,

Bloxburg has become much more realistic with the recent food, work, and building updates. The next logical step is the driving system, which currently feels very basic compared to the rest of the game's detail.

I would like to suggest a two-part update:

PART 1: REALISTIC DRIVING SYSTEM

1. Lights & Turn Signals:

  • Left/Right turn signals [Q/E] + Hazard lights.
  • Full light control: Off > Low Beam > Medium > High Beam. High beams illuminate further but can blind other players.
  • Working brake lights and reverse lights. This would massively improve roleplay.

2. Full Vehicle Control:

  • Optional Gearbox: Automatic Mode (current system) and Manual Mode with P-R-N-D + 1,2,3 gears. It would be optional in Settings so it doesn't affect new players.
  • Handbrake for parking on hills. If you don't use it, the car should roll.
  • Visible speed limit on the dashboard.

3. Parking System:

  • Designated parking zones that detect if you parked correctly and give a small $20 reward for good parking, encouraging good driving.
  • Small fines if you leave your car in the middle of the road to prevent trolling.

PART 2: BRINGING THE CITY TO LIFE - NPCs

The city feels empty outside of other players. It needs ambient life:

  • Pedestrian NPCs: NPCs walking on sidewalks, using crosswalks, and waiting for traffic lights. They don't need to be interactive, just for atmosphere. They can despawn when the server is full to avoid lag.
  • Parks and Public Spaces with Life: NPCs sitting on benches, kids in the playground, people jogging in the morning. This would make jobs like ice cream seller or delivery person make much more sense.

Why would this benefit Bloxburg?

  1. More Roleplay = More Retention: Players would spend more hours just driving and creating stories.
  2. Content for Creators: Bloxburg Driving School, license tests, traffic police - this is endless content for YouTubers/TikTokers.
  3. It doesn't break the game: Everything can be OPTIONAL. A toggle in Settings > "Realistic Driving ON/OFF".

This is an update that fully aligns with the realistic direction Bloxburg is taking and the driving/roleplay community has been asking for it a lot.

Thank you for reading.
