ADD CELLAR RETRACTABLE STAIRS!!!! They should be in the HATCHES section(not stairs), and have multiple designs. To open it up you need to cllick on a hanging string to pull it down, then click on another prompt to open the stairs fully. The door should also be big enough to fit the person without bumping their heads on the roof while climbing.
