Develop plants/gardening to make them more user-friendly and exciting. Methods of watering that are farm/field-friendly such as longer hoses, irrigation pipes (perhaps using a chain system similar to fences, as we've already seen the semi-functional string-light fences) or even something like a fertiliser/compost purchase that would allow longer times between watering or even prevent withering completely.
