I'm not a game creator so I'm not sure how difficult this is to do but with lights, i have an orange tint for the lights in 1 room but it shine through to the room above when i don't want it to and it gives it a half orange tint on the floor. This might just be a me thing but if there is anyway you could make the light not shine through walls/floors I would really appreciate it.
