Unable to Place Wall in Specific Area on Friend's Plot

Steps to Reproduce

1. open build mode menu
2. select wall
3. move 28 tiles in from the left side
4. move 27 tiles up from the previously "28th tile"
5. then try and place a 6 tile wide wall
6. and glitch should happen

Explanation

When I try to place a wall in a specific area it wont let me. Like when I drag the wall it either wont let me place it at all. or if i do a box around the area, it will let me do the surrounding walls but not in the glitching area. Also I would like to clarify that this bug is not happening on my plot or build. It's happening on my friends plot. His username is damien422223
