Improve Shotgun Combat Usability and Predictability

General shotgun improvements/fixes:

Allow gun to be fired during reload:

  • Currently, shotguns do not allow you to interrupt your reload in order to fire. This makes using shotguns very janky, as they have a single round reload, but cannot use this to their advantage during combat.

Random bullet spread:

  • During testing, I have noticed that shotguns produce a random spread pattern. This means that, unless your gun is right in front of your opponent, it is highly likely that you will end up doing a random amount of damage. This makes combat less predictable, and means that players cannot rely upon their knowledge of damage numbers, since it is very difficult to know exactly how much damage a shotgun will do at a certain range. Considering that most other weapons have very consistent and predictable spread and recoil, it seems weird that shotguns should be prone to randomness. The solution to this would be to present fixed spread patterns for all the shotguns, making them more consistent. Additionally, the shape and width of the spread pattern can be used for balancing, with smaller spread being more powerful, and higher spread being weaker- at longer ranges.
