As a splitgate 1 fan coming back for this fully fleshed-out sequel, it’s really wonderful to see how far the game has come, and it’s been really easy sink hours into the beta. Now that we’ve seen a full official release, I’m wondering how far progression can go beyond the battle passes. A 4th faction could go a long way in giving players more to level up and keep them coming back into lobbies, and what would do something similar would be giving us more to unlock within the pre-existing classes themselves. The stuff in the battle pass is cool, and I’m enjoying grinding that stuff out, but maybe putting in some more basic weapon or character skins for xp milestones would be super cool, and help players who maybe can’t afford the battle pass for whatever reason, to stay engaged with the game and its features once they’ve gotten all their weapons, attachments, and equipment. P.S. This game really is so impressive, I feel like I’ve been waiting for a title like this to shake the market up for a long time and I can’t tell you how happy I am to be playing. The whole free-to-play / premium cosmetics business model I think works really well, but I’d also have been happy to pay a proper retail price. Crack on you guys, you’re doing great!
