I have 3 ideas that might be fun for the game. First hold actions. Hold a button to use it as a different action. Example: press your assigned left portal button to shoot a left portal then if you need to close that portal. Hold the same button to close that portal. Adding the option to hold down a button to preform an action in key bindings can help simplify control setups and, help controller players out with their limited number of buttons. Next, regicide. Back in halo 4 regicide was one of my personal favorites. Its a 6 man FFA. The person on top of the score board (The king) was worth more points and, had a marker above their head. The gametype was perfect for practicing baiting people, gun fights pressure. With portals, I think it could be a very interesting game type. Team rgicide was pretty fun too. Finally, trading cards. Not sure how to implement this one but, maybe when ranked gameplay comes out, you can have tading cards of different players of a certain rank and, people can collect them. Kinda like sports cards. The higher your rank the more rare you card would be.
