Implement Action-Based Armor Upgrade System in Battle Royale
Change the armor system in BR
change it from rng chest or shop buys to more of an action focus upgrade system like with Apex
Could be base on damage while also have items around the map that spawn in that you can collect to progress towards the next armor upgrade.
Issue with the current setup is that it leads to a pretty lame feeling when you drop don't get an armor upgrade from the chest and then get into a fight with someone who did get lucky from the chest or someone who landed on the shop and looted the area and was able to buy one.
It can also lead to only good drop points being around the shops causing the map to feel small and the early game to feel very formulaic.
Something similar happen in fornite where they had these shops that gave very strong weapons that you could purchase right off the bat.
This led to only those shops being good drop points if you want to win due to how powerful you could get right when the game starts and dominate the lobby. Made the map feel small and early game became very formulaic and repetitive due to everyone just hot dropping at the shop and either winning the fights or dying and going back into the queue.
With how much faster Splitgates 2 BR is compare to others I think having an armor setup that can match that sort of pace would make it more enjoyable and way less frustrating.
