With the official announce we got from Ian days ago that we're getting back the mastery cammos I would like to talk about the badges system we currently have in the game. I just think they're actually pretty easy to get and dont represent a real challenge to earn them since you only require time to get all of them, i've have unlocked almost every badge avalibable and I didnt even notice I did it. I remember that the badges we could get in SG1 and how fun and challenging it was to get them, i think it would be a great feature to add to the game in the future so we can have more in game rewards we can use besides the mastery cammos and also a good way to know the type of players we're facing even before the match starts, I remember that in SG1 when I saw a player using badges like "once a saddist..." stage 3 that you get by doing 5000 damage in 1 match or the "immortality is bliss" badge that you get by winning matches without dying, I knew it was gonna be a tough match and I would have to play carefully. There were also badges for doing fun and creative kills like the "you've fallen and you cant get up" badge that you get by getting a portal kill, and also secret badges like the one you get by being the only one holding the splitball in a match or getting a kill with each weapon that you could get in the fiesta mode wich there were also really of fun to get them. Also I think the designs were more cool in the first game and something that i qould love to see comeback someday in SG2. I feel like this badge system could open a great oportunity to add a feature that makes grinding more fun and organic and also could gives us a hint of what kind of players we're facing, I know its probably not a top priority right know but I wanted make this post since I actually feel that the devs really listen to the community suggestions, and maybe with this they will considerate to add this feature in the future, anyways I would love to read your opinions, feedback would be really appreciated
