Feedback on battle royale mode. Let's make FPS great again, and not follow the status quo's design choices.

I love SG, and want to love the BR too. But honestly, it's not in a great shape right now. It feels a lot like COD Warzone, and that's not a good thing.

1. Remove portal gun "upgrades". Let us PORTAL freely. It feels wrong not being able to portal. It's the true identity of Splitgate. Without it, we are lifeless.

2. On a similar note, remove armour plates ASAP. This isn't COD. And it shouldn't ever be like COD. These things ruined the gameplay loop in Warzone. The guns and damage are already well-balanced in this game, and the TTK is almost perfect, without artificial health upgrades.

3. Obviously performance isn't going to be great. It's a huge undertaking and the maps are larger. But I'm stuttering a lot on an i9 and RTX 4090. This needs work too.

One good thing I like is the "drop following leader" and respawning aspects. Keep these.
