Revamp Gameplay Mechanics: Remove Heroes, Abilities, Perks, and Short Rounds; Improve Spawn System

Remove the Heroes and abilities, add weapons on map besides power weapons (you took them away for loadouts, and class weapons) remove perks, remove the effect on your screen when you shoot your weapon that gives people motion sickness, and get rid of the short rounds, every time I get in a groove and start enjoying the round, it ends every time. And restarting only seems to exist because theres so much spawn killing in this game seems like you were aware people would quit out of matches if it was a normal length match, so you shortened the matches to try and retain players for that short 2 minutes. The spawn system of this game is fundamentally broken. It doesn't seem to detect players within a radius of a spawn point, many times I spawn with people within 25 feet of my spawn. Unfortunate, arena spawn systems are generally afterthought for most games, this game feels the most similar to recent cod spawn systems. (Which is essentially saying, whoever made the spawn system, only wanted to make sure people actually spawned into the map, the rest was irrelevant to determining the location. Frankly I wish this game did anything different from any FPS game for the last decade. But instead your team decided to copy nearly every aspect of all other fps games on the market, then market your own game as the one game doing it right etc. Battle Royale, hero shooter, abilities, perks, multiple currencies, battle passes, the amount of specific mechanics within the abilities are all copies from other games (promethean vision, jetpack, speed boost, drop wall, etc. I dont see really any unique features of this game period, and that's frustrating because Splitgate 1 HAD all the unique features, and after the first game it was for some reason decided to copy the rest of the fps market nearly 1:1, then market your own game as if it was saving the fps genre. Im speaking bluntly because I cant believe such a fantastic franchise turned into the generic fps slop fest that we got. I will say the one redeeming quality to this game that other fps games dont have is the projectile shooting. Feels great with the movement needing to lead your shot. But that's actually the only aspect of splitgate 2 I enjoy. The game took a complete 180 from being a fun arena fps I enjoy, now its a generic hero shooter on arena maps.
