Balance Burst Rifle and Address Weapon Effectiveness in Splitgate 2

Extended mag is the first perk for a weapon (burst rifle) that can't even get through an entire clip before being killed by every other weapon in the game.
Burst Rifle s****. What's its purpose in a game where movement is pretty key to gameplay? Balance the weapons or remove it from the game entirely.
I really enjoyed this game till I started using the shotgun and burst rifle with Sabrask. Not I think it's kinda s*** to be honest. Clearly these 2 weapons are lack luster and not balanced to well compared to say the Meridian SMG that despite having low damage output, the firing rate is insane and comes across as too op.
