Progression system. Right now you’ve got gameplay and game modes setup pretty well, there a good amount of maps, modes, and guns to give a solid gameplay experience. What you desperately need is a progression system that rewards players for playing and even grinding your game. Something like what XDefiant did with their weapons, or even just making weapon skins that the player unlocks by hitting certain milestones of kills. Cosmetics will be your progression system in casual and ranked, I haven’t seen anything else work for arena shooters. Armor progression system. Y’all should seriously consider moving to a cosmetic armor system similar to Halo Reach, the characters in game would be unique and similar enough to have certain shoulder, leg, chest, helmet pieces that could be unlocked through gameplay, or paid for in the shop. Right now there’s no balance of cosmetics in the game right now and it’s going to kill the game. I, and other players I’ve interacted with, have brought up the fact that there’s nothing cool to actively grind for, making the game only worth playing an hour or two with some friends. That’s it for progression. Next is Anti cheat and a Ranked mode. If a ranked mode is in the cards of things coming later on, which I really hope it is, you are going to need an anti cheat badly. Don’t let your player base get overrun by cheaters like other PVP games have. Take Destiny 2, COD, and Apex Legends for example. The games reputation is severely hampered by a high cheater population. Also Cronus/Ximming is not an accessibility feature, it is cheating. I’ve played for money in Destiny and Apex and that is a big understanding amongst most players. Anyway good luck with the game, I really hope it keeps succeeding! Make FPS Great Again!
