I personally believe that proelium is a tad bit overpriced. I love the game and I love the bundles that are coming out, and I bought the new astronaut bundle the DAY it dropped to the shop. I've already completed both battle pass parts and have no proelium left whatsoever. And while I would love to use the cool variants of my cool new skin, in total to get everything it would cost me around 70$ on TOP of the 40$ for the bundle just to get all the variants. 34.99$ worth of splitcoin gets you 240 proelium and you need 440 proelium to get all variants of the character and it's gun skins, and while I understand this is a free to play game, i feel 110$ just for one character and a FEW skins for the guns, not even for his entire weapon catalogue, is a tad bit unfair. Whether this could be remedied by offering more proelium than what is currently offered based on the price, offering some proelium in the skin bundle itself, offering proelium for participation in events like the fourth of July event, or even offering proelium for ranking up to new tiers in ranked. I don't particularly mind but I feel the current monetization model is a bit unfair to the consumer, and ive seen it drive some of my friends away from even wanting to play the game, as they come in wanting to get cool characters and realize they have to drop the equivalent of nearly two Triple A games in order to even use all of them. There can be an argument made that you don't need every variant of the skins you buy, thats fine! But even if you just want the kill effects and the extra character skin effects, you need 40 proelium to upgrade the skin for the jetpack as you cant purchase it without purchasing the emote (which i dont even want) first, and 40 for each weapon to get the shot traces and kill animations, which in total is 200 proelium which at minimum runs you 34.99, thats nearly 80$ in total just to get some effects for ONE character set.
