Implement Financial Risk Agreement, Improve Graphics, Add Map Editor, and Enhance Player Experience in Splitgate 2
Hello 1047 studios, my name is Andrew. After not playing sg1, but having played all other large fps titles for a combined total of 15k hours on keyboard and mouse + my 5 years of console gaming. I have both casual and competitive experience and an essay style prepared script, which I am reading for you now regarding your beautiful game. First things first, money management. Although cuts have been made, the game must grow more than currently, through its growth spurt with about half the growing pains it now has. All staff must reduce income by 20 % and accept a risk agreement. If the game succeeds, in legal financial terms, that staff will get a bonus, if not, the game and their 20 % simply goes away. This will make room for 20 $ more staff for the year that I think this agreement should Publically last. The hope of this game came from devs who care, now promise more. The game, either graphically or networking wise is laggy, and without frame generation doesn’t live up to the graphics. In the future, 1047 should consider releasing a console with keyboard, mouse and foot pedal support only, and the tutorial should include an esports health, fitness and gaming environment setup video with a medical doctor on board backing the science. Grow your community, and lan events. On lan, a lower tickrate for casual TDM and Arena will not affect competition, but could temporarily improve appearance for the casual audience which you obviously must grow in comparison to the current population of Splitgate 2. The graphics should be prioritized in the fps game with the highest skill gap. The skill gap is for the esports arena, and graphics for the audience. Add in a standalone map editor with uploads to the server browser voted into a playlist on the home page. Allow for every pixel to be colored beautifully. Add a donation box to the map editor. Again, grow your community. Consider a homepage voting poll “playlist” where ideas can gain player popularity or not, along with a z axis for player rank. Consider a store addition, like a gas station, being semi safe away from action and portals, buying weapons, this will give players more reason to explore the options. Health shouldn’t be bought, just the weapons, and I’ll add, consider adding an even higher, extremely unique time to kill, destroying the randomness of 1 shots for good. And with this slight increase in skill, allow more of what players in first person shooters love, by slowing down player movement speed, allowing for more shots landed, and less necessary muscle memory for flick shooting, a genetic trait that many can’t emulate. Next, moving forward after the game is developed to this point. Put almost all your luck into your anti-cheat. Consider investment options and acquisition of super computers not using quantum because it will probably be illegal, about 1.5-2 years from now, as tech grows exponentially. From there, being about 2.5 years later, invest in retreat-like health/social communities for gamers to play on lan. Thank you for making such an epic game. I have spent the last 10 years meditating on fps games and the future. I hope you appreciate this, and earn the spot as the future fps game players choose.
