Enhance Battle Royale Survival Aspect and Improve Arena Balancing in Splitgate 2
Former Pubg comp player here. I love all the game modes. I have the following feedback:
BR Mode: BR seems to have lost that BR survival aspect. In many other BR games you are able to 1v4 teams but this BR make it almost impossible to do so. The time to kill and short respawn times make it very difficult even for top tier players. I think a combination of tweaking the damage output and the respawn timers. Double damage events feel more like a BR game due to its time to kill. Im not saying to double the damage but maybe reduce the effectiveness of armor. This will make battles feel more rewarding for outsmarting/maneuvering your enemies. In many other BR's you can kill a whole team with one or two clips. This game you cant. Additionally losing a teammate needs to be more punishing. Respawn timers are too quick. It needs to take longer for people to respawn. These changes with the addition of ranked will make BR even better imo.
Arena: Arena is in a good spot imo. Takedown and the other modes seem to work really well. There is just some balancing issue that you guys already know about. I will say i hate the amount of portaling high level players are capable , but that may be my own personal skill gap that i need to work on. Nevertheless i feel like the portaling takes away from the other movement mechanics that are in the game. It seems that experienced players are divided into two categories. Those who portal to get around and those who sprint slide and rush.
Also we need more maps, maybe some map altering events to spice things up. And tournaments
