Accessibility & Optimisation - Options to reduce visual clutter on maps and change portal wall colour One thing strikingly different between the original Splitgate and the sequel is how easy maps and portal surfaces are to parse from surrounding environment. On maps from the original game (in particular Abyss, Crag, Forgone Destruction, Highwind, Impact, Oasis) the portal walls were very easy to parse at a distance and had little visual effects. SG2 on UE5 engine, whilst my PC is capable to run Ultra graphical settings, is quite visually overwhelming experience. Therefore I run it at Low (with the exception of portals setting) as it makes the game easier to look at, but there are still some distracting animations on portal walls. I suggest providing a way to turn off visual effects like the ones used on portal surfaces and portals. During the Graffiti event I was surprised how much easier the maps were to navigate in the enemy areas where portal walls were different colours from the normal blue, such as magenta. I think a way to change the colour of portal walls throughout the game would be really helpful too.
