⸻ Game Mode Changes • Splitball camping fix → Add a timer for staying too long in the enemy base. If exceeded, your own captured ball resets as a penalty. • Bring back 3v3 and 2v2 Ranked (TDM, King of the Hill, Takedown). • Include clans and clan leaderboards. • Add the option to enter the waiting area/lobby while queuing. • Bring back classic arcade modes: Gun Game, SWAT, Big Head Snipers, King of the Hill. ⸻ Progression & Rewards • Bring back the Reward Center with unique unlockables. • Add longer camo/skin progression for more grind and achievement. • Reintroduce supply drops with exclusive rewards (reload animations, portal effects, etc.). • Restore player levels with prestige system for long-term replayability. • Add daily login rewards and incentives to encourage consistent play. • Completing harder weekly challenges should grant exclusive supply drops or cosmetics. ⸻ Weapons & Abilities • Faction balance improvements: • Allow weapons to transfer across factions so players aren’t locked into one playstyle. • Faction abilities as pickups scattered across maps → encourages map control instead of passive cooldowns. • Sabrask adjustments: • Smart Wall → Riot Shield redesign: • User cannot fire weapons or use equipment while active. • Provides short-duration cover for up to 2 teammates. • Feet remain exposed unless crouched (counterplay). • Remove the Heavy Punch perk (low-skill mechanic). ⸻ Attachments & Competitive Integrity • Casual/Arcade modes → Keep weapon attachments for fun customization and casual variety. • Ranked/Competitive modes → No attachments, ensuring a level playing field based purely on skill, movement, and portal usage. • Balances both audiences: casual players get freedom, while competitive players keep Splitgate’s high skill ceiling intact. ⸻ Maps & Portals • Bring back EMP grenades and portal blocking mechanics for more counterplay. • Add more portal walls on maps to increase creativity and mobility. • Bring back OG simulation maps with visual updates (e.g., Bravo with more color). • Add vertical-style maps to enhance portal play and high-mobility combat. • Maintain classic portal mechanics instead of simplified or restrictive variants. ⸻ Training & Customization • Add a shooting range for practice, testing weapons, and experimenting with loadouts. • Expand cosmetics to include animations (reloads, portal closing/opening, jetpack effects). • Add set bonuses: matching skins on jetpack, portal gun, and weapons unlocks a toggleable visual effect.
