Dynamic Loadout System with Archetype Weapon Pads and Customizable Equipment

i suggested in this discord once or twice that we could mix loadouts and even starts in such a way that classic arena retains some variety in matches while not detracting from the point of even starts. my suggestions were as follows:

  • weapon pads become for weapon archetypes instead of a specific weapon
  • players can pre select what weapon and attachments spawns per each archetype pad and save preferences as loadouts
  • if players do not change preferred weapons then pads dispense a default weapon setup
  • equipment pads should be added to the map which dispense equipment that players can customize
  • equipment would turn into a charge based system instead of cooldowns
  • EMP grenade becomes part of the base kit on cooldown
  • players select perks they want and they are applied in a match

the people i talked to were generally interested in seeing something like this tested, and it could add needed dynamism to a generally static gamemode. this would be a nice feature to see inside of ranked play or as a rework to classic arena, as loadouts are generally more casual by nature, but i would be in favor of replacing all modes with this system if its received well
