Splitball is a really great game mode, as are the classics Domination and Hotzone. Firecracker, on the other hand, is one of the worst modes ever. It makes no sense to me at all. Search and destroy with respawns that are way too fast (I wonder why they even have respawn?), on maps that are way too small, where you're back on the scene within a second via portals. Completely pointless in my eyes and not fun at all. The characters' abilities are great. Aeros' equipment, on the other hand, is completely c***. The stims, in particular, are completely pointless, since as soon as you take damage, the healing immediately stops.
