Implement Penalties for Early Match Leaves and Improve Player Experience

As someone who's played this game for almost 12 hours, the game is really well made with pretty ok balancing from weapon to weapon, and maintains most of what made 1 special, that being said an over arching problem was clear a couple hours in. Although I'm not sure if you get punished in 1 for leaving matches it really was never a problem for me in that game, this one? Almost every match (and I'm not exaggerating) that I have played has had at least one player leaving the match mid game, usually after the first round. Although the round system I personally find is engaging, the combination of that and seemingly no punishment for leaving matches early makes most games up to which team loses a player first. Winning against a three team and a bot isn't earned or satisfying, and losing with a bot replacement is just really frustrating. I get that in casuals there will always be people who leave matches early, and that's fine, however people leave before a match has even been decided, before it's even clear who's going to win really s****, it's not competitive or fun for anybody, even the person who left probably feels frustrated. I suggest adding a reminder after leaving/disconnecting that leaving matches early negatively impacts other players, while also listing the remaining free leaves the player has (3 or 4, with 1 regaining ever week or so), this would give people who have to disconnect for good reasons opportunities to do so without punishment, however those who do it to the extent of hurting the player base (by using up there free leaves, then leaving another match) will be punished with a timer in-between matches, stoping them for instantly going into the next match, especially after leaving a match (this would wear off after a week or so). This timer would exponentially grow in time, and could be fully reset the first and second offense by writing an apology letter to the devs. This isn't a very unique solution, but it's one the game in my experience desperately needs. I am aware that ranked is coming soon, and I might play that instead of quick play to avoid this bad "sport"smanship, but one mode punishing you for leaving isn't enough, most players are casual, as such most players will continue to suffer with unfair matches, and I hope this will be helpful in improving splitgate 2 moving forward. P.S Also, firecracker takes too long to explode, stealing is too easy in split ball (rip og splitball), and as a controller player the lack of any button combo option except for faction abilities really hurts the experience (my tactical is down d-pad right now, yikes!) it also makes battle Royale near impossible to play depending on your portal settings.
