so i wanted to post this before i leave splitgate 2 possibly even wash my hands of it after this due to the state of the game. i like the controls and the style of gameplay and overall the portal system is pretty cool. and wile im not someone who simply review bombs over petty things i will make my mind up on what is worth my time in the long run espsically when it asks for money to unlock cosmetics. first and formost. weapons. so i generally enjoy the guns mostly though miridian AR somehow seems to outmatch Sabrask's which is not fun. it feels less about skill and more that im just in a unfair fight. on top of this the game has a serious problem that plagued Halo for years. mainly the battle rifle conundrom which seems to be beyond most developers ability to balance in various games throught the many years i have spent in many games. look its pretty clear theres a problem since it both out dps's a DMR with non-head shots and equal range and better handaling. this weapon does not only two tap a player with headshots but also is a easy clutch weapon that can burst fire someone even using an AR without giving a fair fight. the fact that it takes me 3 shots with the "carbine" which is a DMR for clarity sake to the head over a BR's 3 shots. and yes i know it burst fires. the issue is its able to put out more rounds in a highly accurate center point with seemingly no deveiation that makes me question if the devs even know what they are doing. you cannot simply add a gun that just does what other guns do but better and call it a day. this breaks lobbies and makes the game not skill based but meta gimmic based. Fomo. this is why even if i continue to play the game will not spend any money on this game. look i dont have an issue inherantly with GOOd micro transactions. but if you want me to buy your skins. buy banners and sprays. give you 5 bucks here and there. maybe drop 20 or 30 bucks on a special collection pack. you gotta not pull a s****** move. Fomo. "fear of missing out" basically the fact that you are both making me pay for a premium battle pass which is already gross. but not letting me keep it is pathetic. its not a good deal. its a legal scam and should be called out. herlldivers did it right. even halo inf did it right. i can unlock a pass and keep it. unlock it as i play. on my own god d*** time. you are not a MMO respect my time and my money please.
