Implement Advanced Dispatch System with Channel Management and Role Features
Hello, I did an internship for my local Dispatch Centre and have been a long-time GTAV Roleplay member, although I do not have the experience in Roblox development to know what would work well, I can suggest what I believe could work. I also believe many people will have the same take.
- Keep channel structures: Main Dispatch / Tac / Private Car-To-Car / etc
- Create new channels: SBI Private / Investigations, etc with the ability for supervisors to move members, this would be used for conversations regarding scenes or investigations
- Push to talk, and a keybind to change channels (example: Shift+B to change channels)
- New Pursuit channel (if y'all go with the dispatcher route)
- Animation to go with this push to talk
Potential new things:
- Dispatch Role
- Max team 2
- Assign calls, Coordinate Pursuits, Manage Radio Traffic, Track Unit Locations
Example radio traffic w/ dispatcher
Unit 3A12: Dispatch, traffic stop, [Location] .
Dispatch: Copy 3A12, traffic stop [Location].
(dispatch then changes status of 3A12 to busy)
Unit 2A14: Dispatch, available for calls.
Dispatch: Copy 2A14
(dispatch changes status to available)
Dispatch would also need the ability to take action against dispatch etiquette violations in some manner, although moderation is good as it is, many dispatch items require immediate attention.

3A21 – Dispatch, starting pursuit, black Dominator.
Incorrect:
BRO HE'S RUNNING GUYS COME HELP ME
New Item Potential - Priority Radio Override
- Supervisors and dispatch can override radio chatter
Example:
Priority Tone
Dispatch: All units hold the air, priority traffic.
I still think keeping the on-screen radio log is important to help players who join late or miss radio traffic.
