Instead of sheriffs guarding the prison or taking care of inmates, I suggest we should add Correction Service Prison Guards or Federal Prison Guards and their jurisdiction should be only the prison and they should have cars that transport suspects from active scenes to the prison. Their outfit should be grey with black pants and should be armed with a pistol, taser, cuffs, pepper spray and a bean bag or a rifle, depending on situations. Their cars should have a black-grey color and not too many lights. Besides prison guards, sheriffs can still manage the prison with them. They should have riot outfits too just like srctu or swat. In my opinion this is much practical, because evrytime we have to wait for a deputy to come to MCJ so he can place the inmate in a cell. IF we add prison guards it will be much easier and practical. Also people should have access to them only if they have bronze membership+.
