Reintroduce the infraction charges in the option when booking a suspect. To prevent this from being abused:

• LEOs will NOT be able to arrest when selecting infraction offenses only in the booking menu; and
• must pair it with a misdemeanor or felony charge in order to be able to arrest them.

Infractions are still considered unlawful, so these violations must remain in their arrest records. e.g., John Doe jaywalks before escalating it by refusing to identify himself. Officer was able to include a jaywalking offense in the arrest record.
