EMS should be allowed to carry at least a pistol. If not at least br issued a tazer so they can defend themselves. In real life, EMT are given pistols so they may defend themselves, I feel it is not far for a EMS in game to have to recreate hacksaw ridge acting as private doss and then getting domed in the skull and then again not even being allowed back on scene to continue helping people due to the rules.
