Increase Unholster Speeds for Law Enforcement Officers

Increase unholster speeds for LEO.

The holster, and the fact that LEO are trained should allow them to draw their weapons faster than civilians pulling weapons out of their waistband.

As civilians tend to initiate the gunfights on their terms, especially at random, LEO are currently put at quite a disadvantage, as we essentially only pull our guns out when the suspect does, unless it’s a high risk situation prompting to have your weapon out anyway, and with the time it takes to draw your weapon, the suspect will manage to fire off a few shots before you’re able to return fire.

This is prevalent at traffic stops, or simply interacting with civilians in the street, where a civilian will unexpectedly pull a weapon out firing shots off before your unholster animation ends.

While the civilian should obviously have some form of advantage due to element of surprise, the current balancing is HEAVILY skewed in their favour in my opinion, especially if the new gun system is to stick with its current time to kill, as you can very very easily die before your weapon even reaches half way out of its holster now.

There are plenty of bodycam footage which shows officers drawing their weapons far faster than we do in Ventura after a suspect pulls a gun.

The unholster speeds should be adjusted so that LEO can have a better fighting chance during civilians randomly deciding to shoot, especially at traffic stops, whilst also not completely negating any advantage a civilian can have for pulling a gun on an officer. Just needs some balancing, again especially if the time to kill is to stay.

There is even an animation that places your hand on your holster, only making that draw your weapon faster would be great too.
