Introduce Port Jobs and add more incentives for players to go to Port.

More jobs around Port/More incentives to go to Port.

At the moment, Port is only used by those trying to get chemicals. Civilians don’t really have any incentive to go to Port. Some will still come to Port to RO “getting a package” but that is extremely rare.

Right now, a lot of, if not the majority of people who have access to the Port Police team find it boring because they don’t have enough interaction with other players. They will spend most of their session standing and waiting for a player to come along, sometimes up to an hour if the server they are in has nobody interested in getting chemicals. This has caused the Port Police team to be either dead in majority of the server, or the people who are in the team to patrol out of JD, making Port empty anyway.

If things were added to the Port, if it’s legal things for civilians to purchase, or even jobs focused at the Port, it would make the Port become more lively, and in turn will make the Port Police have players as they have more roleplay opportunities.

There is a freight lane already at Port, so even having a delivery team where players can deliver “goods” from Port to the businesses around the map. We got Target, SP, Subway, McDonald’s, Donuts and other businesses where players can deliver goods to.

Port Police can then also ensure that drivers are legitimate as they enter and exit the Port, and it would give the Port team more roleplay opportunities.

I’m sure there could be other things added to Port, but it’s such a dead part of the map that makes the Port Team unenjoyable for many players, and with how some players are discontent with the lack of new content for people who play civilian, it would add more gameplay opportunities for them too.
