Steps to Reproduce
- Pick Louie.
- Place Louie's explosive tripwire on the TV.
- Throw a fireplace kindling board into the tripwire.
- Repeat the process multiple times.
- The TV takes around 8 or more damage per activation and can eventually be destroyed.
- You can also damage teammates, bear traps, trampolines, and other defensive traps or utility items placed by your teammates to protect the house from enemies.
Explanation
This bug allows players to damage their own team's objectives and teammates. For example, you can deal a large amount of damage to the TV or even destroy it completely. Because of this, players can intentionally grief their team by damaging objectives that are supposed to be protected and effectively help the enemy team win.
The bug can be reproduced by placing Louie's explosive tripwire on the TV and then throwing a fireplace kindling board into it. By repeating this multiple times, the TV takes around 8-16 or more damage per activation, allowing players to heavily damage or completely destroy their own team's objective.
Please remove the ability for tripwires to damage teammates and your own team's objectives. However, please do not remove the ability for fireplace kindling boards to trigger tripwires, because this feels like an interesting game mechanic rather than a bug. It can be used against enemy objects such as windows, fences, and other enemy structures.
Right now, this mechanic can be abused for griefing by intentionally damaging your own team's objectives that are supposed to be protected.
