Introduce a Microchip Block to Combine Logic Components Efficiently
Add a block — a microchip.
In it, the player can install N logic blocks (mathematical/sensors/buttons, etc.), and the game will count this as one block (something similar is available in Stormworks).
This will allow players to create more “interesting” things without forcing the game to calculate a bunch of logic blocks.
For balance, you can introduce a separate limitation, similar to the one for weight and size (the number of chip blocks), and set a limit N for the logical blocks inside the chips (for example, from 25 to 100, well... as our great Fluppy decides).
(P.S. I used a translator, but it seems the essence remained the same.)
