Incorporate Fungal Communication and Plant Interaction Mechanics
Under Review
A suggestion from Graeme Fairelander:
"Technically not a plant, but fungi are fascinating to me especially. I really love mushrooms. The way they react to things and communicate through their mycelium networks to other mushies is incredible... Almost like their own internet. And the more we learn about plants, the more we realize how much they're communicating all the time with each other and the world around them. The way all things, even something we humans tend to think of as inert and simply existing quietly, reach out with their own voices to the world is incredible to me. Plants might communicate via colors or toxins or other chemical reactions to protect themselves or express distress or their happy growing conditions--and those things are all messages they're sending to the world around them."
