after player for now for a while. It seems they open land. Which I need for space. We have to purchase more trees/rocks with coins. It seems fair to make tools cost coins also not gems. The reason for gems I guess it eventually what you get from greenhouse and gazebo parts we get gems (so.. ok I guess LOL like I have a say. lol). You asked about keys though. It isn't the keys so much as people are shown chests, as if they are what your focused on. like you said it is keys. Those gold chests will drop when I finally merge those bronze keys to silver then gold. It takes like 2 weeks!! so kind of annoying. I dig up (early game, once I have space I merge chests) bronze, silver and gold chests until I have the gold keys to open the gold chest. ((I just like those player-guide channel threads, It helped me understand what I thought I wanted to focus on. Instead of what the game is trying to make me do...))

If you need tools I would open silver chests instead of gold. They can drop same toolbox combo (yellow/purple) as gold. They can also drop yellow/yellow so not as many tools as gold, but you aren’t stuck waiting for gold keys this way
