I just received a Silver Chest from the Tropical Island. It is the old type of Chest and won't merge with the current Chests. These need to be replaced with the new Silver Chests. Those of us who have received the old one as a supposed gift for playing the Tropical Island need to be given a new mergeable Silver Chest.
