I'd suggest to add a split button, for example I have a silver key, however I need two bronze keys, so instead of giving me three bronze keys after splitting it, I'd get two keys instead.

I believe this would be very beneficial, however I may be wrong. If it is not a very viable idea, I'd love to know more over why it is not such a great idea and what drawbacks it may bring with it.
