Steps to Reproduce
- Start a point extraction mission
- ...possibly at max duration/complexity (our instance required 10 aquarqs)
- ...possibly with Gold Rush active, unsure if that part mattered.
Explanation
Today I had a Point Extraction without enough findable aquarqs to finish the mission. I can't prove there wasn't a tenth aquarq buried somewhere; I only know our team spent nearly an hour looking for it before being overwhelmed in a dwarfworthy last stand.
The only mission detail that seems relevant is that the Gold Rush mutator was in effect. I don't know how map generation works, but perhaps the extra gold is generated after the aquarqs and overwrote some of the latter? There was a lot of gold.
I dug through any logs I could find for a map seed to reproduce the issue, but could not find one. I don't know if seeds aren't logged or if I was looking in the wrong place.
A previous report of this issue exists, but it won't allow me to comment and it's two years old, hence opening this one. The previous report does not specify if any mutators were in effect. It does specify hazard level; for reference, they were playing at H5+, while we were playing at H3.
